Only one that I know I'm going to play for sure is Deus Ex 3. Mass Effect 3 would be in there too but I am not entirely sure ( literally speaking) that I'm going to be alive when that game comes out.
Other games that I may play, contingent upon reviews and word of mouth, include Old Republic, Witcher 2, and Arkham City.

2 people have Assassins Creed Brotherhood in? I'm confused - is this a different platform release? I thought this was already out.
I don't think it's out on PC yet. I'll definitely buy it some time this year, Assassin's Creed 2 was possibly the best game that I played in 2010 (even though it was ridiculously easy) so I'm looking forward to Brotherhood.
Another game for my most anticipated games list would be Guild Wars 2. There's no estimated release date for it yet, but I've got a feeling that it'll be released before the end of the year. I hope so anyway.

Why? Are you concerned about finally provoking RBJ into murdering you with a traffic cone in a coke-fueled rage? Because if you weren't such a passive-aggressive nancy you wouldn't have that problem.

My list would have to be:
PC:
Brink
Mass Effect 3
Deux Ex 3
Dead Space 2
Crysis 2
Portal 2
PS3:
Uncharted 3
Killzone 3
Little Big Planet 2 (maybe... because I dont see how its much of a sequel, just more maps to play on)
Eksbawks:
.......
Shadow Complex 2? I'd play it.
Wii:
Conduit 2
Sonic Colors
Not holding my breath on these, but I can wish:
Black Mesa
DNF
HL2 Ep3

Trine 2 (Seriously, how has no one mentioned this yet?)
Portal 2
Deus Ex: Human Revolution (with scepticism)
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Risen 2
(Unsure if the last two will make 2011)
Also some interest in Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, but my interest depends on what Blizzard do between now and its release.

Nah, I just enjoy skirmishing with him because his rage his both entertaining and educational as to how self-styled elites(and what Carlos Xuma refers to as "guru" bullies) think. I think its kinda futile though: no matter how much of an asshole I try to be it still pales compared to what the vets can do. The comment is referring to an "occupational hazard"
Now, Re-reading this list, I realize that I stupidly left something out. Little Big Planet 2. I'm also eagerly looking forward to Project Dark. Too bad the odds of that one coming out this year are slim to none.
SubJeff on 2/1/2011 at 00:23
Ah, yes, Project Dark. Hmmm. There are many things on these lists that are sequels to games I haven't played yet - like Demons Souls and KillZone2 (will they ever bring out KZ1 for PS3 I wonder?).
Makes a lot of difference.
And of course I'd be looking forward to HL2EP3/HL3 and Black Mesa but they aren't happening this year.
One thing I forgot is the 3DS. I'm sure there will be some great games for it, question is should I buy it? I hardly play on the DS anymore...

Since you said that you're sure there will be great games, but didn't name any off hand, I'd say no.

The entertainment and education comes from watching him tear you a new asshole whenever you attempt to look well-informed. What makes it futile is that you never take anything away from those encounters.

Bionic Commando Rearmed 2The sequel to the awesome remake of one of the greatest games ever made? And you can jump now? Yes, please. Capcom needs to make sure this comes out for PC so I don't have to buy a console to play it.
not that I have a problem with consoles. It's just that, barring a couple of games, most the stuff I'd want to play on the consoles, I can play on the PC.
The Witcher 2Because the first Witcher was great, and the second looks to be continuing that trend.
Deus Ex 3Sure, it doesn't fit in exactly with the previous Deus Ex games, what with the past looking more futuristic than the future and all. In the end, all that matters to me is it captures the spirit and gameplay of the original DX.
Mass Effect 3Thanks to my quite frankly awesome leadership skills, I managed to lose only one person during the whole suicide mission. And since he died a morons death (seriously, when you have a whole squadron of angry bug things shooting at you from behind a closing door...TAKE COVER! DON'T STAND IN FRONT OF THE OPENING YOU FUCKING MOUTHBREATHING DOLT! RIP lizard assassin man), I don't feel like it's a knock against me personally.
I'm also interested in seeing how my choices pan out from the end of ME2, and what effect they'll have in ME3.
Despite my misgivings, I turned over all captured Reaper technology to The Illusive Man. My reasoning being that even if he does turn out to be a total bastard, he's still a thousand times better than the Reapers. Plus having access to their tech would be a tremendous boon to our defense in the oncoming invasion.
I have plenty of other games I'm hotly anticipating, but these are my Big Four. As the year marches on, I'm sure I'll have even more to look forward to.

Oh shit! That's right! Assuming it comes out at release, add Paper Mario 3DS to the mix.
And yes, you should buy a 3DS. Everyone should.
