Half Life 2: Episode 3 (I assume it will be out this year)
I'd love to make some joke about high hopes and crushed dreams but considering the fact that Duke Nukem Forever is actually going to see the light of day, anything is possible.

Duke Nukem Forever (hopefully they don't screw this up, but at least it will be released!)
the Doom 3 source code -- It would undoubtedly help The Dark Mod along,which would be great.

the Doom 3 source code
I'm crossing my fingers, but not holding my breath.

We'll see the D3 source code. Carmack himself has said he wants it released. It's just a matter of when he decides to do so. Could be right around the time Rage hits the shelves, or sometime in late 2012. Who knows. But it'll come out...sooner or later.

Not sure about this last one... :erm:
As I have mentioned it is a collector's edition of Dragon Age: XZ-2 Super Bodukai that will be released in Japan only with special content not present in the american release, I read about it on kotaku. Rumors say it will include a tiny little figuring of a horse and a real-life anime themed doll of Uinri Rokkuberu from Full Metal Alchemist. You would know about it if you ever read good japanese websites such as kotaku like I do. baka gaijin.

I only said that because a Google search of it only had one hit, this thread, but that probably just means it's officially spelled a little differently. Just poking fun of that, though; it's true I wasn't following the game so don't have a real opinion about it. I wouldn't be knocking my weeaboo cred, though. I translated all the Japanese FMs and my Doraemon translation video topped 200K over this year ... not to mention my day-to-day language is as much (bad) Japanese as English anymore. ^^;

Airtight excuse... I need the Japanese practice, and have you seen Japanese women? If I had no connection to Japan or a Japanese woman, it'd be a different story.
And wasn't "Not Anymore" referring to Kyoto?
And why am I being so defensive?* Fuck you guys, I'll fap to furry-dick-girls if I want and you can't stop me! :mad: :D
Seriously though (to get back on topic), I already gave my picks for 2011. TW Shogun 2 was about the closest I could get to a J-game for this year. I practice Japanese a lot, and get into manga for that, but the games rarely jell with me, except for a few of the classics back in the day. I don't know why; I probably should be playing them more... But I like a lot of interaction and freedom, and they're often slim on that end. (And I don't have a console.) I was reminded of this recently playing/watching the latest Final Fantasy. It made such a strong impression how limited my freedom was, like the blueprint hasn't changed in 15-20 years; all this great scenery and world but still so much on rails, and I wished its market would complain about it more so we could have more open worlds in them.
* Edit: I don't like being called baka gaijin when I try to practice Japanese everyday. :( I think that's why I said that bit. But anyway I think Yakoob misunderstood my point. I just meant to say I wasn't sure about the spelling since there were no google hits on it. I wasn't questioning that it exists, or attacking it or J-games generally, but it is true I don't really follow console games.
