And if you cut the playback speed of that WAV to about a 16th of the normal rate, you've got a great in-mission ambient track!
Oh, and here's a simple mix I made a while back of the Thief 1 end music. Would be nice if the TTLG Jukebox were to pick this up
*cough*cough*.

Hey, if anyone's interested, I'm currently cleaning up many of the ambients from TDP/G.
I guess I could go by request too if you want any particular files.

I eagerly await the tunes! :thumb:

Hey, ataricom, if you could do what I was asking earlier in this thread, a sort of a soundtrack CD of T1/G and T2, with all the ambient sounds and music included. I tried doing it myself but it needs to be done by someone with some skill with sound editing/mixing and appropriate software. If you could start both CDs with the LGS chime sound, that would be perfect I think ;)

I dunno... it's a tossup betwen the LGS chimes and keehit_s.wav (the start-of-mission sound).

I like the ambiance in Running Interference, Shipping and Recieving, and Trail of Blood, but I found the ambiance in Sholsgate a little distracting.

Ok, I'll see what I can do. I don't know about a CD though, because I still don't have a CD-R drive on my computer.

Oh no I didn't mean a CD like a physical CD, but meaning you'd break everything into tracks (WAVs or MP3s) so that we could download them and burn them as albums, which I think everyone would welcome, if it's done right. I'm a big fan of soundtracks in general (mainly film scores) and this is one (or two... or three, soon) I'm dying to get!
ataricom on 28/4/2004 at 22:32
Umm, you can get them from the snd.crf and burn them yourselves.
Unless you want to use the ones I'm filtering. Then that might be a while. My hard drive locked up last night, and I was able to get it to start up only once since then.

So is there ANY possibility that the voice audio could be filtered from the cutscene music? I'd kill to have a copy of those tracks.
*Looks at ataricom's signature*
Surely you have a recent backup of that??
