Ok, ok, don't freak out. My hard drive still works...... well kinda works.
Every once and a while it shuts itself off and then locks up (seriously, I hear it buzz) when I try to do anything.
I'm backing up all of my Thief related folders right now.

Your wish is my command ;) Here's the entire track: (
http://www.hta-bi.bfh.ch/~thonr/thief/credits.mp3) credits.mp3
The part when the guitar kicks in was used in Framed. Quite a contrast to the U.S. version.
Sorry, I don't have enuff space to upload the entire .crf. The other stuff is just German voices anyway.
Damn I had that credits.mp3 on my drive and I thought I had it backed up before I formatted for a new sytem build but I didn't :{ Any chance of you reposting it Eshaktaar?

jechma - you can open .crf files using WinZip.
Why is it when I do that with Thief II I only get a few files (say 12) I can't work out what has happened to all the others.

I never really payed much attention to the in-game music in 1 & 2, but in 3 at the widow's mansion is this really haunting piano tune that keeps looping. I mean, really really haunting, the music in Cradle wasn't even as creepy as this stuff (although just about everything else in cradle was creepy).

You only get a few CRF files, or a few files
within the CRF files?

-Don't worry too much, you can download the TME from dromed central. (Thief Media Edit, aka: TME) This program is like winzip, but is only for thief.
If you have never been to DC let me know, and I'll give ya a link.

Adding my "props" for the Trail of Blood ambiance (and to Duodecimal for posting the mp3 :thumb: )... between that, the mother/child ghost conversation, and accidentally frobbing "Dewdrop" then hearing that mournful squeak when I dropped it back onto the kid's corpse... by the time I recovered my composure, I fully and completely hated all Mechanists to the point of restarting the mission on Easy just so I could kill them :ebil: Then restarted again to listen some more...
Related Deadly Shadows niftiness: If you like the DP / MA soundscape,
be sure to frob all of the victrolas in the Museum level; they don't all play the same thing...
Not bad, but my motherboard's screwed up, so I'm temporarily using my old setup (466Mhz, 256Mb RAM).
I've done about 10 so far, but have another 15 or 20 I want to get done soon. I'm going through the SND crf listening for all the crappy staticy ones to clean.
Again, if there are any files you want, I'll clean them by request.
