For me, number ONE is Horn of Quintus, I remember playing that level just to listen to that masterpiece. Second is the sad Trail of Blood song, that combined with the Pagan Ghost telling their stories almost made me cry.

also, the sound of the blue crystals in "Maw of Chaos" is quite enchanting.

The city music in "Assasins" was great, I really like the sound in Shoalsgate Station in "Framed"........And old memories from "Down in the bonehord" when you get close to the horn of Quintus:thumb:

What about the faint bells' ambient from the Bonehoard? The air elemental's sounds seem suspiciously similar to them as well...

Yup, I also rate the T1/TG end sequence, and Trail of Blood. Trail of Blood I don't rate too well as a piece of music (if at all) to be honest, it just works so well as ambience set against the pagan village.
Other sounds I liked - Halls of Echoing Repose and the Valerius Auditorium. Unfortunately both these pieces "tear" and crackle unless I disable hardware acceleration.
Another note, I thought the breakbeats in the Downwinders' guild were too loud! At that very point you are trying to hear the nearby guards.
Also the ambient's in The Sword were scary as hell! All them creature noises.

Where is that mix that someone did using voice overs by Steven Russel in both the Thief and SS2 games using the Thief theme.
I LOVED it, but cannot seem to find it.
I think it was called A Tribute to Steven Russell.

Count me in as another Bonehoard lover... that ambient is one of the most moving sounds ever. It brings back great memories of the first time I explored the Halls of Echoing Repose, so long ago. Fun times. :D

Lucky Hand of Glory: Yup, it was called Tribute to Stephen Russell. And today's your lucky day because ta-daah, the (

I like the T2's fb1 to fb10 files.
They inlcude the sounds from T1's The Haunted Cathedral, plus a couple more.
They give me this feeling that I'm doing something I shouldn't and that something bad is imminent....
I think in T2 you can hear them in Truart's house
