That was sweet Eshak! The German credits were sweet indeed but I'd have to agree with everyone. It's not very Thief-like. And the guys doing the vocals... :tsktsk: Wasn't so nice... and for some reason, I always think of Africa when I hear them.

Alexander Brandon also did the music for Unreal, UT, and Return to Na Pali. I actually remember thinking that the music was the best part of Return to Na Pali.
If he's as good at fitting music to T3 as he was with the Unreals and DeusEx then I'm sure we'll love it.
Of course, if the music for T3 sounds like the music for the Unreals, then I'll be leading the lynch mob. :ebil:

In WinZip, sort by Path (click on the title of the Path column). Then go to the "sfx" section. That culls down the number of files to search through considerably.

My frist choice would be the Horn of Quintus as well. It completes the Halls of Echoing Repose's (along with that elegant name) atmosphere perfectly, you can just imagine a real place like that, minus the zombies of course. It made it all sweetly beautiful.
From Thief 2 I enjoy Framed's music, which is also very atmospheric.
And from Thief 1 there's the countless portions of things you hear in The Sword which make it a very interesting mission. And then in Undercover I liked the drum beats mixed with the humming which is mesmirizing.

Could anybody compile all the music from Thief 1/2 into somewhat of an album, since there's no official Thief Soundtrack? I'd kill for such a CD. Pretty please?

That would be sweet. I went through some of the sounds and it appears that most "music" files are about 10 seconds on average, if that. I guess in-game they're just looped or mixed in with others. Is that right?

To add to the best music list: I also like the music in the briefing movie before The Return to the Cathedral in T1.
BTW: Why does everything have to be duped in German. Why don't the people there just write the thing actors say (what is the word for it...subtitles?) in movies and tv series. It's a pain to watch a good tv -serie and not be able understand a thing when I can't understand german.
