After what seems like an eternity away from Thief I have finally built myself a dedicated Thief gaming computer so I can get back in to Thief once again. I have replayed all of the original Thief 1 and 2 missions and am now ready to jump back in to FMs

I started with Raid on washout central just because i liked the rain ambient :), this got me thinking about what was the most detailed FM for T1 and T2 ? I seem to remember that Heist Society was one but its been a while so any suggestions would be welcome

By detailed, do you mean long playing time? A lot to do and explore? Packed with detail visually? Or what?

From the top of my head I can tell you that there are 4 FMs with with insane detailing:
1. The Black Frog
2. Morbid Curiosity (subjectively the most impressively looking FM)
3. Patriot
4. King's Story

What instantly comes to my mind, and I'm surprised nobody mentioned yet: Godbreaker. I have a modern gaming setup (by 2020 standards) and boy the fan has to work to keep it cooled and running. The second mission is the best in the campaign considering both complexity and detailedness.

Rose Garden, Compulsory Egress, and Into The Odd are probably my absolute favorite FMs, all wonderfully detailed imo both visually and in terms of gameplay. Also Ascend The Dim Valley, Catacombs of Knoss & Legacy of Knoss, Endless Rain, Broken Triad, Disorientation... I have too many favorites I'd consider very detailed and visually impressive, I could keep going :"P

Some of the recent anniversary missions were very detailed and intricate, the ones that come to mind first are The Builders Paradise, Whistling of the Gears, Lost Among the Forsaken, Rose Garden, and Sound of a Burrick in a Room.

Surprised I haven't seen Scarlet Cascabel already.
Ravensreach
The Rocksbourg Series (lovely dark and gritty atmosphere)
Among two storms
Kings Story
Patriot (this one is a LONG one, several missions)
Being Thief (1&2)
And so, so, SO many more. Depends on what you mean by detailed, but theres so much to enjoy
