Hi all. Whats your take on the foes you hate the most in the game? Heres mine...

1) Spiders - You need to be prepared for them, and equip your shotgun with sabot rounds or have grenades/rockets handy. Sure, you hear them before you meet them most of the time, but sometimes they come out of trapdoors or there is more than 1 to handle. Also, since I give ballistic protection priority over the other augs, I dont max out the aug needed to defend against the spiders' EMP + electrical attack.

2) Greasels - their poison attack does ridiculous amounts of damage. I'd rather take a bullet to a poisonous spit anyday. Makes sense? No. But I guess thats how the game designers made it. Especially annoying when you're in the water and can only use the dart gun. Is it even worth trying to get headshots with critters like greasels or karkians?

3) Karkians - IMO the game designers didnt maximise their potential as bad-tempered critters. I never had problems with them, but they rank pretty high up due to their high HP, high damage inflicted and ability to swim. If only the game designers threw more Karkians (or similar critters) in the game, especially in places where you cant run and snipe behind a door/window or something.

4) MiB's - I also never really had much problems with them, being a head-shot/Dragons Tooth player. But their death explosions do get annoying sometimes. Stops me from using the Tooth to kill them.

6) Commandos - easier than MiB's because they dont blow up when they die. They also seem to be easier to do hit and runs on.

5) Bots - pretty dumb. Its funny to kill those bigger bots (with rocket launchers) with the Dragons Tooth. Just stay behind them, run in circles and keep hitting. If youre low on health, use the targeting aug, find out when the bot has low health, then back off and finish it off with a sabot round.

6) Regulars.

I don't know about you, but I really hated Simons. The only way I could beat him was to put on all my combat augs before he started talking and fire an ass load of 20mm grenade rounds as soon as he was finished. Even then it wasn't easy. Now I'm beating it on realistic difficulty. Don't know what I'm gonna do when I have to face him.

Butterfingers while handling TNT is also one of my most hated foes. That and stupidly setting them in front of doors.

The foe I hated most where the greasels.They love to attack you with more than two of their buddies at one time and one poison spit can be enough to send you to nirvana!
First I hated the grays for their radiation attack,too but later when I learned to use my Dragon´s Tooth they were no threat at all.
But the greasels survive two or three hits. Is there a way to kill them with one attack? Please do not say use the GEP gun!

Can't stand those commandos and the military bots - the scare the heck out of me. Usually appear when I least expect them.

Greasels are pretty bad too, but so far I've managed to just run past them.

I never had any problem w/Greasels, Karkians, Commandos, MiBs, or Simons. But I fucking hated those little spider bots. I had a helluva time dealing w/them everytime. Maybe I'm just retarded but I dreaded running into more than one spider bot 'cuz it always meant a quickloading marathon for me.

I agree Monkeysee....the spiderbots sucked!! I was a pistol man so I didn't use shotguns and I hated wasting EMP grenades on them. plus their sound effects were annoying.

1) Spiders hate ladders (Yeah, I know, but with the bots it actually makes sense). I usually choose Spy drone, and try to get them from a different level. Also, don't forget you can bait most enemies...

2) Greasels - I always choose "The anti-poison" (F9) aug, and that helps here. Try hitting them with 2-3 tranqs and running and hiding. Furthermore, they can be distracted with corpses.

3) Karkians - These guys can actually be _baited_ with corpses. And the big mamas just love WP rockets

4) MiB's - Riot Prod (if you have a low melee skill it may take 10 or so hits) in certain parts to get certain items (i.e. keys, stealth pistols, dragon tooth)

5) Commandos - I hate these guys on the gas station level. Is it just me, or do they sometimes takes 2 headshots? Does anyone know if you can tranq them after an EMP blast?

6) Bots - I love the scramble grenade, wish it lasted longer, even with full demolition. I found most bots can be avoided and taken out long range. Where there's a big bot, there's usually a LAW about.

7) Scientists at Versalife - "If you don't mind, this is a private {BLAMBLAMBLAM}{thud}"

Oh, and Harvey Norman.

Actually, I didnt find Simons too difficult after I found out his weakness. He basically is powerful when he has his plasma rifle on him - after that he uses a flamethrower if I am not mistaken. (I beat him a loooong time ago) Anyway, the key is that he runs outta plasma ammo after a while. What I did was focus on dodging his blasts (just keep running and strafing) and when he runs outta ammo, keep popping him in the head. But I'll admit, before I found out I could dodge his plasma shots easily, he was one tough foe, especially since I fought him 'fair' - as if I did not know he was there. (No augs/weaponsfire before dialogue)

How do you use the Dragons Tooth against the grays effectively? I thought they had a brutal ranged attack, so how does one risk getting up close to kill them? What if there is more than 1?
