It seems it's coming from the makers of the Hitman movie..

And i think they will use the new Thief as source material. If they don't i will be surprised...

I doubt it will come into fruition. Even if it does, chance are it will only get a brief moment of attention before fading away into obscurity. You know, like the Hitman movie.
