Hey, good luck Frobber, on the mission :)
I'm also working on a bell-tower, it'll be in an large hammerite monastary called "Newchurch Cathedral" or something like that.
It's part of a two mission FM called "Midnight at Angel Bridge". Heh heh, wish me luck on this one.

Actually, a real bell that big wouldn't swing at all. Only the clapper would move. ;)

Yes, you are right, Thumper. In fact, Big Ben has it's odd buzzing tone because of how that bell got thumped by an oversized clapper when first set into the tower -- one of many bits of trivia I picked up during the week I spent hunting for clock-tower chimes on the internet! Strange, this hobby of ours...

*sigh* well...untill we get the clapper working, I guess we'll just have to be happy with the way it is...(just another one of those unexplained anomalies of the Thief engine I guess) ;)

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I simply copied the one from TUG demo and made sure all of the parameters were the same. They were, and it swings! :D

I did a search for bell and this is the first one that concerned the swinging bell. :joke:
