Regarding 1.04 and the malloc errors.
Are any of you with malloc errors and the missing video settings using the bit torrent supplied copy of 1.04, or did you get it from tdm_update?

The only thing that concerned me with TDM was that there have been only 5-6 releases in the past 6 months. I was a bit worried that after some initial enthusiasm, editor/author interest has cooled off a bit. But if you read a bit in the editing forum, you can see there's plenty in the works, not to mention the current contest that's running.

So, you're saying that you don't have the texture compression options either?
Correct, I do not have the setting either. I will have to try deleting the tdm_gui.pk4 and re-running tdm_updater. My files were not downloaded via Torrent...

Well, it turns out the settings were not included in TDM 1.04 after all. lol They were missed....which is actually a good thing in hindsight, but it doesn't explain why people are suddenly getting malloc errors, or why their compression settings are turned off. Something appears to be amiss.

I know I am an idiot, but I am still having a hard time connecting this issue, with your review of TDM being ten times less as good.
