What
coal pile
in what
passageway
would this be? I can't see one anywhere near the half-unbricked body with the "revenge" scrawl. BTW, I'm playing on "Hard".
That body is far far from the blocked location. When you find the zombie, you will be near it.

I didn't find anything within this thread to help me, so it looks like something really obvious that only I am having difficulty with.
I'm stuck at the beginning. Got as far as the spiral staircase the top of which had some arrows taped or chalked on the floor leading me over the edge back downstairs. I've found no secret doors or panels or switches. Just some arrows in a chest and a guard currently KO'd. The toilet seat "did" open, but I'm tired of peaking in to see if there is anything to grab. I still feel ickky when I encounter toilets in these fan missions. But I digress......

At the top of the stairs there is a little switch on the metal post to the left of the wallpaper.

How I missed that I'll never be able to explain. Thank you !

Do I need to restart? I just started playing this FM after trying a few times with the scripts issue.
I have been to the basement of the Police Station and am back on the floor above. I took out the guards in the double door room and grabbed the key from the patolling guard and BJ him before I got through his door.
Do I need to go in that area or can I just move on?

If you can't Use an ordinary door it's because there's nothing useful behind it.

If your a thief, you never know if there is an ordinary door you can't use or not. Some FM's have doors you can't use and therefore must use the winoow and there are times when there is something useful behind it.
Either way, I guess I will move one, but thanks for the reply.
I guess I was wrong for
bashing in the first door until I found out later there was a key available.
Well balanced mission, not a pain in the arse as much of T2 originals.

..is the coolest thing I have seen in a Thief game to date. I dunno how you did it, but I hope you make a tutorial.
Actually, there already is a demo mission for it. I can't remember where to download it from, but I could send it to you if you want. R Soul did a great job with that part, it wasn't at all buggy like the demo. I wish I could figure out how to do that.
