Check your script files. You may have the wrong versions.

Just hit ctrl-alt-shift-end as the camvator starts and go to the next mission if all else fails. It's a nice introduction but that's all it is- the game starts after that.

The only "trouble" I'm having now is that the text of "not being able to play ....without ..... a.s.o. " is howing up all the time while playing. Can I delete that in some way?

The texts just disappeared as I went on playing the game, so I'm OK now.

I can't get the mission to play at all, even after following everyone's advice on this thread. Other missions using these same scripts run fine. If authors are going to use custom scripts, they need to include them with the FM.
