I thought those streetsigns would stop people getting lost.
Next time I'll make them flashing :thumb:
I've just put the custom scripts I used into a single .zip file.

Note that the tnhScript in this zip may actually be older than one you currently have in your T2 folder.
Edit: Just updated with a file I forgot to include :o
Make sure you have the SuspParam.str file in the .zip

Enjoyed this FM very much. :) Like the others, I was amazed at
the train
. Got all of the loot on that one (I know, not a big stretch ;) ), but then I turned around and got all of the loot on the first try in
Fort Montoya
- 2754/2754. Sweet!
I must say that the
train station
was nicely done, and the
Industrial area
was pretty cool too.
I don't recall ever having experienced the
ghost text ("You will regret this thief")
in a mission before. Neat touch!
Aesthetically- a very pleasing FM. I too feel that for the size of the mission there could have been more objectives, but IMO that would have just made a great FM an outstanding one. The Thief 1 feel was evident, and it was a nice comfortable feeling. :) Top notch work R Soul.

I finished alltorc last night and I really think that was a well done mission. Although I stumbled upon one of the main objectives by accident and then found the hint later, it was still a great mission. I got spooked by the
ghost and the writing in the one room.
:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Here's something I would never have imagined I would ever say, but...I loved the toilets! Those were some nice designs!

Soon finished with this nifty package. Big thanks, this has been so far very immersive package. Love the atmosphere. I did not wander in the city at all. I didn't get even lost really. The tips from note were easy to follow. Finished the first few parts in no time - leaving whole lot of extra exploring to do in subsequent plays.
I just love murky rainy missions. Can't go wrong with rain :) The building after a neat trip (how'd you do that?), is designed in a very cozy way. Lotsa dark spots to hide with a cool roof area. Did I say cozy. Very cozy and warm place. And full of guards.
Yeah, toilets made me chuckle too. Fanciest stuff I've seen in any fan mission. Had some few good laughs too over small things, this has quite mature subtle humor, not the usual tacky stuff.
I was also struck by how well guards are scripted. I mean whoa! Relighting lamps, noticing and closing opened doors, checking up on things. On several occasion has made me jump out of my skin. You are grown to expect quite static guards and predetermined actions and when you encounter something like this it feels like a fresh wind.
Like when I sneaked to a trophy room with
paintings, only to hear guard on patrol locking the door behind me.
Playing with the ultimate difficulty mod too like always, unless this uses its own gamesys. Seems to suit this mission well in any case. Can't wait to finish this and play a few times more to appreciate all the nuances.
In overall - impressive scripting, top notch level and technical design. Story is somewhat in background and a bit obscure, but there seems to be hours more to explore in the city and warehouse district. I went those through literally in a bunch of minutes now in the first time play.
Must have required tons of work on all accounts. How long this took to finish?

oh yeah, someone mentioned fog. Now that I think I have never ever played any missions with fog enabled. Geforce2 MX doesn't support it by default and new forceware drivers have no fog emulation visible by default it seems now that I checked.
Here's what I found and I finally got fog working. Could be helpful for those using Forceware drivers on old cards.

little registry tweak to get more options available
(
http://www.tweakguides.com/NVFORCE_9.html)
more info
after you run that to registry you need to edit registry with regedit to make Direct3D options visible (if they are not).
Quote:
... go to the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvTweak] folder. To replace the Application Profiles tab with OpenGL and Direct3D specific tabs, create a new DWORD called "NvCplEnableAppProfilePage" (without quotes) and assign it a value of 0. Alternatively if you want to return to using the normal Application Profiles tab, edit this value to = 1
"emulate fog table" option seems to be on by default.
(
http://nvtweak.laptopvideo2go.com/)
This is a newer app based on same settings, which allows easy toggle of extra settings for NView, but it removed the Direct3D menu and couldn't get it back with that, so had to edit registry anyway. Could be useful for other settings or overclocking.
Fog works now and looks ok (tested with Swamped). Hmmm... Thief missions having fog? Precious Cargo and Life of The Party perhaps? Fog, after all these years. Have I missed dearly?
