I'm probably just missing the obvious, but I don't know how to proceed after getting upstairs into the "switch room". There's a non-functioning lift, switches that don't move, and a window too small to go through? What to do?
Thanks for an entertaining mission (so far).

Go outside (to the balcony). The windows there can be opened.

Just finished on Expert. I really loved this mission! The guards act like guards and react to things around them, the mansion has broken stuff being repaired (very realistic!), multiple ways into most areas, a scary moment or two, and some good Garret commentary ("I think I deserve a pat on the back for that one" :laff: ). I didn't even need any hints from the forum, which is a nice bonus.
I was a bit short on the loot in the mansion, but when I
saw the handwriting on the wall  and the loot objective cancelled,
I declined to hang around any longer. I stole enough loot that the authorities could not know for sure that the Torc was the target of my visit.
So...when does the sequel come out, in which someone or something tries to make good on that warning?
Edit: Oh yes...don't jump from a moving vehicle, it hurts...a lot.

Thanks for the comments (that goes to everyone who's commented) :)
I am working on a sequel, but I don't know when it'll be done.
It won't matter if the player never saw the warning because the events in the sequel could have happened without any itervention :sly:

I'm struggling to find the exit, I've finished all the objectives and the loot. I walk out into the front gate, but it doesn't end. I guess I will just use the End mission cheat, not so fulfilling though :erg:

Threre's a note next to Grimley (who's asleep on the ground floor) that mentions the location of an underground river that leads back to Robington, so go to the south-east corner of the ground floor and go down. Then follow the passage and find two rowing boats.

Just finished this mission pack last night, staying up way past midnight even though I had an early start in the morning. I liked it that much. Just thought I'd post a few comments.
The things I enjoyed the most about these missions were the attention to detail (both architecturally in the last mission and regarding characters and events), the subtle humor and, for once in an FM, readables I enjoyed reading. The technical stuff was very impressive too.
Welcome to Robington had some very nice parts (I love the bank with its little drama), but to be honest, it gave a bit of a bland first impression. It was very easy getting lost despite the street signs (I have never before wanted an automap so badly ;)) and there was little excitement due to mostly friendly guards. The last sneaky part was fun, wish there'd been more of that. I think it would have been a good idea to have a smaller city, but with more detail and more buildings to break into.
The next mission was really cool, I'll have to check in Dromed how it's done. It had a cozy feel, good for a little relaxing bit of fun before the real job coming up next. I just loved the detail of the servant woman from the first mission being here too.
Fort Montoya was my favorite of the series, and goes up among my all-time favorites. Definitely one of the best missions this year. The architecture is great and the half-done interior decorating is very well done, it really does a lot for atmosphere. The several creepy moments add to atmosphere as well, they had me on edge throughout the whole mission. Gameplay is fun, those dark little nooks and crannies got plenty of use. Again, the attention to detail here is a treat. Oh, and good job on that great clue for finding the torc. :D The only minor complaint I have is the lack of an automap, the building is quite a maze and again I spent quite a bit of time being lost.
Thanks for the more than two hours of fun, R Soul! I'm glad to hear you're working on another mission, I look forward to playing it. :)

Nice review Morrgan! You should really post that one on the circle.
R Soul, congratulations for this great fanmission :thumb: You didnt made just a fanmission, but a three mission city/mansion campaign. For your first contact with Dromed that is really impressive.
Nice briefing movies at the start and end of the campaign. I found the city a little empty and quite confusing sometimes, but it was still fun to explore because of the public buildings to explore and the bonus objective.
The Train mission was really amazing. The last fanmission including trains I played was Trainspotting, and the trains in that mission were not even riding. You just want to explore the entire train from front to back before returning to your starting point. I can't remember I ever found avoiding detection more fun then in this mission. Great job.
Ford Montoya was one of the most enjoyable estate fanmissions I played I quite some time. Clever AI, lots of alternative ways of entry, good gameplay, beautiful architecture, some nice new objects, and the text
that appears on the wall saying: I will make you regret this thief
was really stunning. During the rest of the mission I was extra alert, thinking of something terrible that could happen :cheeky:
Overall a great campaign that get's better with every progress and keeps you playing till the end. A must-play fanmission for sure. And my compliments for the well designed maps, which are not as common in fanmissions these days. I'm really looking forward to play the sequel when it's done.

Do you mean the ones that you see when you press the M key?
For the last mission, I drew them by hand, including the writing :cheeky:
