What a Mission!
(not finished yet, but i'm very happy!)
Outstanding!
My compliments to the Author, this is the best mission of the 2005!
I go upstairs to find the dead bank manager and the impaled thief. Is there no other way to get into the vault or to lift the gate that impaled him?
When you see the
thief Garrett says
"No point in going here". He's not wrong.
Musopticon?, Dafydd etc.
You'll notice a yellow wire that runs along the floor. Keep your eyes close to it, especially as you approach the large room. The switch isn't a conventional one.
did anyone notice some sort of apparition scrbblings (saying 'you are going to regret it thief' ) in the room with the broken door by the office on the 2nd floor?
Yes. I have noticed it. I was highly strung next 5 minutes. :wot: But nothing happened... :(
Moving train - good idea...
In Tomb area
use fire arrow to remove block...
I seem to have run into an unusual problem. After completing the first part of the mission (objectives complete), I was returned to the main menu. Any thoughts on why the second mission won't load (all of the necessary, updated scripts are in place)?
Ah-ha! Please ignore my ignorance. I had forgotten about the files added into the T2 main directory (missflag.str, etc) during my run-through of Komags tutorial. Now that it works, I am impressed! Good show, R Soul!

I've downloaded the scripts and extracted them to the Thief 2 folder and the game is running fine but I have not objectives. The first box checked off when I went to room 3 and read the note and got the keys. Something must be missing, or I failed to do something. Help would be appreciated and what are the objectives. Thanks

I really really really really really wish that when people ask a question, like "where do I find X?", then figure it out themselves, that they would post an edit
somewhat more enlightening than "I found it, wow, was that well hidden!" Other people may have the same question!
*/ rant mode*
And now I have to ask the identical question again:
Can someone please tell me how to access this
tomb in the basement area with the
zombie trap?
Thanks,
Dafydd

My thoughts exactly, Dafydd. And I would like to have the same answer.
(Brandi, this was not pointed against you)
Sorry, guys, I know how you feel, it's happened to me too, I was just tired last night and wasn't thinking.
What R Soul says is true, it's not a conventional switch, in fact it's a
hilt
to find it:
look to the left above/by the yellow wire just before you get to the zombie trap thingy
Next time if I find something, I'll spoiler it for everyone else :)
I know it wasn't geared toward me, Musopticon?

Corey, it sounds like you've got a bad copy, try deleting it and re-downloading it

You think the FM could be bad? I'm having trouble with my internet provider today, just staying online for 20 minutes is getting hard and the download of this FM takes over an hour. I'll try another level first and see if that has any objectives. I'll have to wait until tonight before even trying to redownload the FM. I've got to get DSL. Thanks.

I just finished the series. Bravo, R Soul! The interlude mission
set on the speeding train
should be the future standard for multi-mission FMs. Although I appreciate the effort of camvator sequences, I desperately wanted to break free and explore the streets of Shalebridge.

I've just finished the mission :) Great big one, :thumb:, ...thanks! and love the little elevators between the stairs :laff:
But what about the passage from the garden to the water that leads at the main entrance? what's the use of it?
