What others has Lazarus done.
I guess I should send my comps to him. I've watched the intro (my fav part) at least ten times. My roomie thought it was sweet too!

Yes, NCP. These problems are a real drag, I hope you can get by them as this is one fm you don't want to miss. It's far different from any fms I've seen.
schwaa- I know he did the one for Inverted Manse. Can't remember the others at the moment. Ask him about his website and you can see all his work. Glad you liked it. I made sure I showed it to my entire family ;)
What did you think of the woodsie poem I wrote?

Sharga's CD came in the mail, so I have MOC2 full version on the T1/G FMCD now, and will try to get the basic mission (without the amazingly cool but large briefing) up online sometime soon :)

I'm downloading the mission now (even though I don't have enough space to have Thief installed at the mo, me being one of the few left with a buttock-prodding* P166 with 1.6 gig hd), and I'm wodering if the brill-sounding into is in this zip (its the 5 meg one) - I can't seem to get onto Dooal's site, Crosswinds recons that it doesn't exist;
So basically, is there a place I can get the intro avi seperatly that isn't Dooal's site? Or can you give us a link to the file directly? Thanks..

Darn! I wish I could experience the mission as Sharga intended it.
But sometimes we have to make do, I guess. I reckon I'll get to see the intro sooner or later, anyway. :)

Well, the version I'm putting on the CD is the full version with the big movie, but it's too big to offer online for downloading, that's all.

I had a look at the game, but after the 19th reset I got fed up, I got as far as the strange red door in the mansion with the ratman and bugbeast beyond it, before it froze up. I can't get anywhere else as it resets to desktop.
So I had a look at it through dromed and ran check_rooms in the user.cfg and the level lit up bright yellow. So I took a closer look, all the resets to desktop, or computer freezes are caused by sound propergation errors. There are several rules when adding dromed room brushes, the ones that go around the terrain brushes.
The center of a room brush must not be in a solid terrain brush.
The center of a room brush must not be within any other sound brush.
Sorry Sharga, but you seem to have broken both rules.
I thinks there's another one, where room brushes must not be too large, as in use smaller ones the break up areas.
It might crash less if you fixed up the room brush problems.

Thanks to belboz we now have a diagnosis for the MOC2 ills! :)
I only hope Sharga (if he's not sick to death of fooling with it by now) can use belboz' info and fix the mission, because it really is a good one, overall.
I'm playing it now, and I only had one lock-up, when I was on the roof of the town hall, across from the mansion.
But I am unable to proceed now, because:
Spoiler:
When I'm in the hall of water, I am unable to emerge through the rectangular opening because I die as soon as I break the surface. Every time. Without exception.

Perhaps when Sharga gets back on Monday(?) he can enlighten me and read belboz' post.
