shooting: nope
stealth: nope
driving: nope
invisibility: nope (see AvP)
power-ups: nope (see almost every platform game ever)
Combining all these things Crysis style in one massive open battlefield: YES :D
Also lumberjacking ... very important point that ...
We can abstract the unique details out of any game. Thief? Meh, it's just strategically moving around a physical space. How many times have people done that! You list games, but none of them play anything remotely like Crysis. Give me a game that does.
EDIT: Also, there is no game which cannot be improved with funny bugs. :p

FarCry is basically Crysis without the nanosuit. As a result it sucks even worse.
Oh, and the plot for both games would insult Michael Bay.

Crysisis basically FarCry on steroids. As a result it is even more awesome.

Hey you gotta give some points for Fist Demolition as well (even if it's only tin sheds) and Car Punching.
And laboriously placing every exploding barrel in the same room and putting a charge on it and seeing just how high the debris will go (and then it falls back down a minute later and kills you). Although I suppose that's
* physics tomfoolery: nope
Anyway
Ha! Man I wish we had video back when I was playing Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption :Subtitle: Colon and got sucked to death during a cutscene (lip synch and everything) and suck-er continued to talk through the suck until suck-ee died and continued to chat while dead on the ground. (progress generally in that game could be described as 'through the suck', actually)

Awesome :)
I once killed a should-be-un-killable character in "The Thing", and proceeded to a cut-scene (game engine, same level) where the guy's voice was talking, but his body was quite entertainingly absent. (That kill took a lot of effort, so I was pretty stoked :)
Your story is better, though.

There's always the hilarious bug in The Nameless Mod where there was a character who worries about a robot might flip out and kill people... and the robot occasionally flips out and kills her. That wasn't supposed to happen, but was funny enough to leave in.
