I was fooling around with this secret and got under the pedestal without using Dromed.

Fabulous mission Sharga .
Art work and design are supurb and it looks like you could build a whole set of missions with your new storyline. Are you planning to develop this further? :thumb: Neat way of signing your mission.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to use the fog effect since I have had to use an old computer (a real life and flesh thief broke into my place a few weeks ago and stole my state of the art machine). Lots of suspense regardless, especially since I had to get real close to distingush whether a tree beast was inanimate or not, and by that time I found out that it was real, it was usually to late. Also got caught by the mouth when I tried to fetch the emerald. The 'save' feature sure came in handy.
Thanks for the hint on the cyrstalline gem, Nightwalker . The gem wasn't there in normal so I had assumed that it wouldn't be there in expert either. Come to think of it I don't think there are any gems available in Normal. As for the Amethyst, if you haven't already found it
its way up in the tree in the middle of the swamp - the tree with the 2 keeper corpses.
Came up with only 1155 of a total 1480 possible loot. The stats also indicate that there is a pocket that is pickable. Missed it. Was anyone able to find it?
Also noticed that the stats indicate '0' secrets available. So I have no idea which 3 secrets you are alluding to Sharga.
Was able to get through the gate puzzle to obtain the civilization doc & also found some neat stuff on the beams above the emerald. However, I have no idea if these are secrets or not.
Thanks, Dreamwalker. I did eventually find it with a tip from a friend at another forum. I had tried to get up to that spot, but I was trying to fire the vine arrow up at the green ceiling, where they wouldn't work. I assumed that the edge of the hole was stone, but it wasn't, so now I'm done. Great FM!

DreamWalker, that's too bad about the break-in. I know I'd have a fit if our main computer was taken. But I'm glad you enjoyed it nonetheless.
Yes, the gems only appear for the difficulty that they are needed on.
I do plan on making a follow-up mission which will be an ambush on the craymen HQ. (See link below for some out-of-date pictures) But it will be some time before this is released since it's a much bigger mission.
And it looks like you found all three secrets. I didn't make them "Secrets" because I found that some people hate having a secret notification pop up in the game and I figured people would know that they were secrets since they involved some thinking and weren't just out in the open.
Maybe the loot count is off. I have no idea how much loot there actually is but I can tell you this: there aren't any pickable pockets. There is a purse, perhaps that's why it thinks that you can pick-pocket. But I think 1480 sounds like a reasonable number. I didn't really keep track of the loot but you guys can put your heads together and make a list and I'll try to help as best I can remember to see if you found it all.
Glad you liked it Nightwalker, and now you'll get to help other people who can't find all 5 gems for ages to come. ;)
Did anybody do this:
Use the fire-trap near the emerald to your advantage, just lead the cray-ghost behind it and he'll be repeatedly fired upon, if he escapes then lead him through again until he bites the dust.
You got under the pedestal? Exactly how did you get under?
Hehe, well I guess that's what happens when you mess with the proportions of a moving object.;)

......... whooops, I was about to search the entire swamp back to search for a missing object (I'm used to forget something along the way...) :cheeky:
thanks for the enjoying time, Sharga :)

Thanks for the help, but i found everything once I learned there was a way up that dang tree. I never did notice that hole... But that Sharga secret was just mean! Oh, and I never did find that equipment stash... Where's that?
And to conclude, a superb mission!:thumb:
