If by equipment stash, you mean the stuff Dreamwalker mentioned in his post, look here:
Go into the room where you found the Emerald. The ceiling in the room will hold vine arrows so shoot one up above one of the plinths that are around the side of the room. Climb up on it and jump onto the rope arrow, then up and over onto the beams at the ceiling. The stuff is up there. :)
I tried shooting arrows at the beams and walls but they just wouldn't stick:mad: . And I think it was a bit to foggy to acctually see the ceiling, so I never tried that.:erg: Thanks anyway!

The walls are wood too, climbing up a rope on these gave me the view of the ceiling which up till now was out of my view!
Warning!! This reply is probably of no use to man nor beast but just gives a little insight into the strange way I go about a level:cheeky:

Ok, the objective is fixed, the ladder under the stone idol has been moved so you don't get hurt from falling down, and the secrets are now counted as secrets in the game when you discover them.
The upgrade is still at the usual place:

And hopefully the folks at the-circle will update it also, since I just e-mailed them.
Later :D

I set things up so that you're actually getting the updated version when you download from the Circle. But they host the readmile file themselves, and that one will still need an update.

Just started playing this mission - it looks excellent. Tree beats are the all time scariest monsties in any game I've played :D One question tho - Is it possible to reduce the fog... depth ? I don't want to turn it off and lose the atmosphere, but i lose direction too easily the way it is now. I know, im so fussy...
Sharga on 24/3/2002 at 07:15
epithumia- Thank you.
So you mean that when someone downloads it from the-circle they're actually getting it from your place, or did you actually go and change it yourself? Well I didn't change the readme file, if that's the only thing they're hosting, so it doesn't matter then. Cool.
Ramirez- glad your getting a thrill out of it. Unfortunately, there is no way to change the fog density unless you go into dromed yourself and do it manually. It's either fog on or fog off. I suppose if you're really really lost and can't seem to find your way anywhere then you could turn the fog off, but it doesn't look as good and you loose a lot of the effect. If you have a specific problem just post here and I, or another helpful taffer, will guide you. The mission really isn't that big, it just appears that way because of the fog.

Great level. The size is deceptive -- my first thought was being afraid I'd get lost in the fog.
I was disappointed, however, to not find anything interesting at the bottom of the spirit forest.

What an amazing mission. Fairly small and simple but *dripping* with atmosphere. I played it twice and I almost never do that for FMs (and this with the first version where the objectives don't work). Also, I got the piss scared out of me. Sorry, Tree Beasts scare me to death the way spiders do other people. And I thought I was so sneaky and quiet around them too
The first time I played I used the corpse in the tree beast glade to weight down the pedestal getting me into the puzzle room. Retrieving the body was where I had to find a fresh pair of panties. But crouching down low and being very careful I finally managed to retrieve him. The second time I played I found the loot stash. Getting the corpse with an invisibility potion is *much* easier! But I also found the tricky secret boulder then I had two boulders to play with in the puzzle room and it was MUCH easier.
Great job! I can't wait for the sequel!

Sharga - Most of the downloadable files from the Circle actually come from my site. (Occasionally you get a choice of where to download from.) So I just made sure that requests for the old file get a copy of the new one. I don't actually have any access to the Circle's content management system.
I honestly don't know if they check my site for updates or not. If you mail them, they usually get to it in a couple of days.
