First of all, I plan to move to TDM when it's available -and- I've gotten most of the missions I'm working on released for T2. I don't care whether or not I like or agree with the views of the team working on it, I appreciate what they're doing and will make the move when the time is right for me.
Secondly, I though PinkDot said he was moving to T3, not TDM... or am I confusing it with Sluggs? :joke:

I thought he said TDS as well actually but in fact he did say TDM.
I haven't quite got my head around TDM yet though what I've seen of it looks nice.

Yeah, I bought my copy of doom 3 last christmas and it's never been opened. (Bought it for TDM, obviously)

Well if you've got it you may as well see what it's like.

I did the same thing (found it for $12 used) and haven't installed it yet. My current PC wouldn't run it anyway, at least not very well. Happily, I'll be upgrading my 5-year-old box soon.

True, but I played the demo and it was awful. I couldn't stand an entire game like that.
Still, need to gets me a copy.

Downloading... but don't even want to look at this till my own mission is released else I'll probably dump it. I remember looking back at Gathering at the Inn to see how the map link was done and being completely crushed looking at the beauty of the level again.
Well, maybe just a peek......

downloaded the klastor.zip
when trying to play it, thief returns to desktop
opening it in dromed( via darkloader (4.3)) I get a errormessage:
PCX decompression error, xpixel:126(File: pcx.cpp, Line: 133
(yes to trap, bla, bla bla) and offcourse back to desktop again:p
downloaded it again, same result.
opening the mis.file in dromed, it starts but then everything is jorge and white wedges ( didn't you use ány standerd stuff???)
anyone else got this problem too or know a solution???

I think you just need to press
Cancel then you should be able to see it in DromEd, it´s something to do whit the textures, they are in another format then DromEd likes :grr:
Jorge and white wedges is because that you need to put the costom textures and object´s in the right folders!
Textures go in to
/Thief2/famObject´s go in to
/Thief2/obj (and object textures in to
/Thief2/obj/tex or
tex16)
That´s the Thief2 install that you use for DromEd!!!

I hated the Doom3 demo too. My reaction was "Everyone can hide in shadows but me? I have a space suit but no night vision? WTF!!" But I'll buy D3 when The Dark Mod is ready to play.
