No; and, well, um, no. Part of Thief's charm is that there are no guns involved. If there were it just wouldn't be thief. Period. Thank you for playing.
:cheeky: (I included the smiley to let you know I'm not being a total bitch about it.)

You could try stolen or what that game's name was... Its told to be really great!! :p
:laff: Yeah, it's great alright. I picked it up in the bargain bin as I wanted to see just how bad it really was. It was bad beyond my wildest dreams. I played it for five minutes and uninstalled it.

Thats a shame. Though the red flags were up for me the second I saw the first screenshot in a preview.
Third person = bleh.

Well, there were guns in one level of Thief 2X. Mind you I managed to avoid being seen in that level so I don't know what they do, but I'd imagine they fire bullets. Or burrick eggs. Do burricks lay eggs? I can't even remember if that was ever mentioned.

One level had a couple of cannons but you never saw a projectile. You set it off and something it was aiming at blew up. Those were the only guns of any type I remember seeing.

The only eggs I remember were the Frogbeast eggs. Love throwing them at the guards, but kind of felt sorry for the little beasties.
Still don't like guns in Thief games, tho, regardless of what they fire. Rather takes all the fun out of it for me. If I want a game with weapons other than bows & swords, I'll go play one, just don't put them in Thief, please.

Actually you could see them fly. The robots shot exploding grenades and I think the cannons did as well. There were other types thought that shot arrows. If you positioned yourself correctly, you could use them to replenish your broadheads. :)

Some of the Hotel guards in T2x had one-shot, wildly-inaccurate, very-dangerous-to-operate pistols. Obviously brand-new technology with some serious bugs in the design still.

Oh, and Spider Eggs in Thief X2. I always felt uneasy carrying those around, just because the spiders in the Thief games scare me more then anything else. It's those damn noising they make. The 'click click click' as they walk, and the sound when they spot you, and the hissing... *shudders*

Ah yes, I forgot about the pistols.
I never really considered the Children of Karras, the traps, or the turrets to be guns for some reason.
