It doesn't really make a difference if you aren't developing any fan missions.

Good enough for me! Thanks, Gayle.
/me puts on his crash helmet, gets back on the Short Bus, and goes home.
Decent society everywhere doesn't want me to create FMs anyway. It would just be a confusing series of rooms with no floors, guards turning teeny circles, and objectives about to characters and items that I forgot to include in the mission.

There's an error in the text file. In the instructions, "how to add ncounter to any mission," the text neglects to mention that a "base" file is necessary. This is a confirmed bug; the "base" file shouldn't be _necessary_. I'll fix it for the coming update.

Update pending tonight or tomorrow. If you've downloaded the old patch and found some problems, download the update when it comes out. :)
Anyone have any feedback?

My Thief2 now crashes to desktop whenever I try and start a mission.
HOWEVER, I am not blaming the Encounter patch. Not yet. :) But you asked, so that's my feedback for now.

Which version of Thief 2 are you using?
I should have specified the gamesys was 1.18.

That's the patched and final version, right? If so, that's the one I'm using.

Oy. This is not fun.
It works with my installation...I wonder if I provided the wrong darkhooks.dll in the package? It doesn't seem that way...
