I do like my Syster, and how will thief 4 justify te thief 3 end story if they use Garrett again?

he didn't actually die in the final cutscene so why should it be regarded as the end of Garrett ?

Actually, how many things in the game indicated that Garrett is finished?
Answer: Exactly none. I can't understand how some people have managed to come into a that conclusion. There is nothing indicating that it was the end of Garrett. Someone please, if you beleive that the end of TDS meant that it was the end of Garrett's thievin' career, please explain how you came into that conclusion. :confused:

yeah, yeah, nothing indicates that Garrett is over, except the fact that the last cutscene is exactly as the first cutscene of thief 1, but instead of being Garrett as boy is that young girl...that makes me think that the little girl is going to take Garrett´s same steps, now its up to thief 4 to decide wether is Garrett or that girl who will be playing the main role of the game...or maybe both...

Actually, at the end of the last TDS cutscene it shows a closeup of Garrett's face as he smiles that wicked (yet enchanting and endearing) smile. To me it meant that Garrett was by no means finished yet. Kind of like 'Yeah, I've been through a lot, but I'm still Garrett and I'm still standing. Wait and see.' type of smile. So, no; I never once got the impression that Garrett was 'done'. As for the girl: I've said it several times but can't resist saying it again. She was a prop; a means to illustrate how Garrett's life had come full circle in regards to his being a thief. Imo she'd have no place in T4 as Garrett is a lone-wolf. I can't imagine him taking on an apprentice, because in the thief world it's pretty much every man for himself. Bottom line: it's a highly competitive profession. Nor did the girl seem to have a personality compelling enough to make her a main character (though granted we only see her for about 20 seconds, but still). :p

So, you're saying that also the keeper in the beginning of Dark Project is absolutely certain to have retired after recruiting Garrett? Evidence plz...
