Unfortunately DS really went out of its way to finish Garrett's story. It stably closed out the primary factions and gave Garrett a full circle moment. It's clear that Ionstorm had no intention of making another Thief game, this leaves EM in quite a tough spot. I'm not saying it won't happen, just that EM has got their work cut out for them.

If the game is 1st person, who cares whether the main character is a girl or a man. Maybe she is going to be a cool arrogant bitch that will enjoy us with her comments, too. If the game is 3rd person, I will enjoy her sexy bottom. :sly:

BTW Garrett was represented as a little boy in the beginning but in DP he was at least 20 years old. I think that after the Keeper's (Garrett's) training she will be 22 years old sexy swindler like Jess Clement. Garrett will be old white-haired babbler (maybe even with long beard) and will give her unrepayable advices.

And what skill has a girl of 6 years old to carry out a mission? that wouldn´t make any sense in the game...how do you know she has 6 years old? if were´re going to play with that girl it must be already within her 20 and something years,

But would you really want the game to be that way? Do you really hate Garrett so much that you want him reduced into a pathetic old master? If you do, then sorry. There are other games for you out there. Thief and Garrett are not about being a "young sexy swindler" they're all about being a true professional in a dangerous job. Garrett is the best there ever will be, and if some young brat comes even close to that amount of skill, it really isn't fair for ol' Garrett.

I didn't remember that it was pwyll who said that. I guess I'm having a hard time remembering nicknames that don't start with a capital letter. :p
But again, pwyll's suggestion was stupid, but not stupid enough for me (who is a bit slow on e-sarcsm) to notice as joking. There are some genuinely stupid people here who really could say something like that in a very serious manner and it's getting harder and harder to spot the joke ideas.
