Someone has suggested that he will be sending me a bottle of rum for my birthday, but I dislike spirits. I typically enjoy a good ale or wine. I didn't want to say no, so now I'm wondering what to mix it with that won't be like drinking paint thinner. I suppose I could try Pepsi, but I've been pretty successful at killing my cola-drinking habit so far. Um, I wonder what happens if you just heavily water it down like they used to in the 1800s. Maybe it'll end up tasting like fermented molasses. Hmm.
