You can make copies of the COMPLETE COLLECTION and maybe the THIEF COLLECTION DVDs for backup.
Make an ISO file (copy the DVD as an ISO file) then you can burn a new DVD.
It seems that there is no DRM or copy protection on the DVD set(s).
I was worried about the discs so I tried to make a backup and it worked. No problems at all.

Just tossing this out there.
I made CD backups of 1, Gold and 2 years ago. Never bothered to try it with 3.

I can't remember the last time I used the CDs. :erm:
I've gone through 4 or 5 computers and at least as many addresses in the last decade or so (not every address in the US I wanted to mail important stuff to), and the laptop I have now doesn't even have a CD drive. I've got T1, TG, T2, & Doom3/Darkmod all backed up & playable on all those computers and an external HD though. I bought TDS the day it came out and still haven't finished it because keeping up with the CD.
Yes, all legitimately bought. I'm a good fan of my favorite series. All the CDs are enshrined in my bookshelf back home.
