UPS guys are fucking knobs. I bought a TV, they left the box out in the rain, didn't even bother to cover it up. The TV turned out okay but jesus christ i wanted to punch someone

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v474/Koobazaur/emot/awesome.gifWell, if anyone gives a crap (in before "no we dont") my parts got here a few days ago and after spending a few hours googling stupid shit (thanks for not telling me the "bendy bits" of the io plate are not supposed to lock into anything but should just be straightened out, manual), freaking out over small things (oh god I touched a pin, I TOUCHED A PIN), constantly double guessing myself (more thermal paste, less thermal paste, more thermal paste, less thermal paste) and generally being paranoid that the thing will burst into flames, I now have a monster of a computer running absolutely flawlessly!
Again props go to bikerdude and everyone else who helped out in this thread - I am running DX:HR on 1600x900 with max everything (and I mean everything) and it doesn't even stutter. I can run skype, steam download, 10 tabs on chrome and still be working in Visual Studio without a hitch. The beast boots in like 10 seconds. Also, the new bios is effing awesome, full graphical interface with mouse support, tons of OCing tools (which I don't even need to use) and monitors to gauge the system health. Holy, why did we take this long to make that?
And the CPU fan is absolutely amazing; the cpu temp is yet to climb above 35C and that's with some heavy gaming. I haven't checked the v-card temp since the nVidia tools don't show it, and the asus monitoring software refuses to even recognize my graphics card - weird. Just got GPUz tho.
Now, the only thing keeping me paranoid is the fact how huge/heave both the GPU the cpu heatsink+fan is, sticking out to the side of the mobo.. doesn't that extra weight cause some undue stress on the mobo / PCIe slot that could add up over time? I am almost tempted to put my box sideways ...
EDIT: Detroit, a city plagued by fridges falling from rooftops...

You have the object highlight and objective markers turned on? Wow, John Howard Griffin presents Casual Gamer Like Me.

Yes, because I cant be bothered to run up to every container / door / hack panel or a goddamn box and press E just to find out if its usable or not. But hey, if you like to play FPS version of pixel hunt, be my guest.

The FPS equivalent of a pixel hunt? Haha, oh please. The interactive elements in DX:HR all have very distinctive, copypasta designs that stick out from a mile away. Vent grates, keypads, openable drawers, cracked wall which can be punched through, etc.
Oh and let's not forget that interactive objects already display a large black box with block text saying PRESS E TO INTERACT when you're looking at them.
Object highlights are utterly redundant and only serve to detract from the game's immersion, case closed.
