I have been peeking around for the past week racking my brain about a certain FM that I have played and loved in the past. It takes a lot to get me to post here, so you can imagine. Anyway, the FM in question was a massive mansion mission contained within a series of missions.
At one point in this mission (which I think might have been the second in whatever series it was), you have to climb up into the attic through a crawl hole, no ladder or stairs. Also, you start in the foyer of the mansion. Visually, nothing primarily stands out to me right now in my memory, except that the mansion was absolutely huge, and realistically constructed.
That is honestly about all I can remember about it for now. I realize this is very vague, but maybe someone can help me out. I have checked about all of the "multi mission series" section of the FM megathread, and I think it might be one of those series that is not bundled together. If anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated, and my brain would thank you too.

wow that's a bit of a thin clue, but ill pm you details of the multi-mission new classifications that im working on for the mission by type thread, it may help.....but Bathory Campaign has a rather massive mansion in the 2nd mission, can't remember whether you ever get into the attic though
Ps.....can you remember if it was T1 or T2

Concerning the Bathory campaign mission mentioned above: The mission where Elizabeth flees from her cell in the beginning does have a large attic, but it is reached via ladders. However, Elizabeth has to climb from some type of furniture into a small passage above her cell, and I think there's no ladder in that case.
"Bonds of Mine", the third mission of the "Mine Saga" campaign, has an attic in a Hammerite occupied house, but I think it's not a mansion. However, you get into the attic via a hatch located above a desk, and IIRC there's no ladder there.
There was an attic in "Retrieval of the Soul", where turrets or something similar are waiting for poor Garrett. I am not certain whether there was a ladder below the hatch into that attic or not. However, the mansion was a bit too "labyrinthic" for me.;-) Oh, and it's not a part of a campaign or series.

Possible the Seventh Crystal, or something from the Lord Ashton series (the first and last missions?), or the mansion level in The Flying Age?

Night Falcon matches the criteria.

apart from the fact there is no attic in Lord Wellhofer's mansion, nor do you start off in the foyer.....:cheeky:
mind you i'm stumped on this one as well

The 2nd mission or last mission of Black Frog maybe? You start in the yrd of the second mission and there is a rope climb to an attic area in a tower. The last mission you start in a room upstairs but no attic climb so probably not that one. Hope this helps.:D

That doesn't mean too much. People misremember all the time the missions they played in the past.

I have realized that the mission in question is the 1st mission of the "When Still" campaign. It is a fantastically huge mansion. I still have not confirmed if the attic I remember is in this, but as one poster said, many FMs run together, and I might get details mixed up. Thanks very much for all the efforts at helping, though! I remember when I first played this campaign, I was thinking, "where has this fm been all my life?" - I really love a good mansion mission (mansions and rooftop missions are my faves), so I'm glad to find this one again.
Thanks again for all the help!
