I finally installed BioShock! :thumb:
Now I need a few hints on bringing down that first one.
Should I confront him? Ambush him? Lure him into the hacked rocket launcher?
All tips appreciated.

The first Big Daddy you fight in Medical Pavilion?
If I were you I'd save up my Armor-Piercing ammo and Electric Buck ammo and equip the Electrobolt Plasmid. Big Daddies are most vulnerable to Armor-Piercing and Electrical attacks.

After a little practice Big D is easy to take down now. :thumb: I have my own "in your face Big D" method now and he goes right down.
And I'm playing the game on Hard.

One of the quickest Big Daddy killing methods I can think of is the "bull and matador" approach when fighting the Bouncers.
Just set up a row of Crossbow Trap Bolts down a corridor between you and the Bouncer, shoot him with something to make him mad, then watch him try to charge at you whilst running into all those electrified wires. Then he goes down in a heartbeat.

I beat the first one on Hard without respawning fairly easily. Just keep slamming him with electric buck. Turrets get blown up quickly, they aren't much use, although a rocket or two can even out the fight.
