TDS runs great right up until I try to take the secret tunnel from Orland's office to the keeper compound. As the next mission begins to load, TDS completely crashes. After trying everything I've found in the FAQ, it still won't load. I found some other savegames for later in the game and they appear to work fine. However, for some bizarre reason, the game just fails at this one spot everytime.
If anyone has one, I'd like to try a savegame from directly after the keeper compound has loaded to see if it might work. Unfortunately, the only other savegames I have are too far into the game, meaning I would have to skip quite a bit of the game.

I've just finished a run-through of TDS and have heaps of saves - I save at the start of every new "level" so I could go back to any point I like.
If you can't find the savegame you need then drop me a PM with your email.

Thanks for the tip. I did get MrWynd's saves previously, but his saves were prior to the Keeper compound tunnel or substantially after that, which leaves me missing a big chunk of the game. I didn't see any others, but I'll check again.

I've sent Burglar my savegame for right at the very start of the Keeper Compound. Hope it works...

Alas, it didn't work. I tried pretty much every obvious technical fix I could think of, including limiting affinity for all of TDS' executables to one processor, updating all drivers, updating the motherboard bios, turning off all other applications running, changing the program options (bloom off, etc.), and reinstalling. BTW, my machine specs far exceed TDS' requirements.
Looks like there's something else more seriously wrong somewhere. This is a fairly new machine. I wonder if there's something about newer hardware that has introduced some kind of incompatibility. It crashes so hard that it might be some kind of wierd memory issue (I have 2GB on the machine). I may move the install to a different machine with a little older hardware to see if maybe that will help.

Have you had any luck yet? I'm having the same problem.
