Hi everyone :)
So I would like to get back into multiplayer again, and I'm aware that I will need version 1.18 and not higher for that. I tried to apply DDFIX but either it doesn't do anything or it's not working as it should, because my framerate in-game is pretty low (Around 30 fps)
I remember that when I fixed it two years ago I used an older version of DDfix and changed Thief2.exe manually with a hex editor, but when I want to do so I need to find an instance of DDRAW.DLL but it's not there!
I'm running on a pretty fast laptop with 4 cores (8 with hyperthreading) and a Geforce 860m.
Playing it on the integrated video chip doesn't fix it.
Regardless if DDFix is working or not, I tried to force playing it with only 1 core by changing it in task manager, but it doesn't change a thing either.
I hope someone can help me out :)
Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply,
With that Tafferpatcher version I at least got Thief working fine, but as soon as I installed the multiplayer mod, it was running very slow again.
Edit: Got both installed now and even the Thief2mp.exe is working with a good framerate, but the multiplayer window doesn't appear. However, It appears I'm missing Microsoft Visual C++.
Downloading that now to see if it makes any difference!
Edit: It's working now. I was missing this msvcr71.dll file, which I was able to get from another game (Not all instances of this file work, but Gothic 3 has one that is compatible with Thief 2 MP). I am also using ddfix 1.1.1
Thank you for your help :)
