I am working on a mission and can't say enough about how great NewDark is. Each time I run Full Mission Processing and it runs quickly, I thank the authors of NewDark. Some of the older authors will remember how long it took to run Full Mission Processing before NewDark. It took forever and I would not run it often. Then, when you did run it, you got errors that had not been identified earlier and then the real pain began.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for NewDark. It was a game changer for Dromed.

Hear, hear! I never really tangled with OldDark Dromed much at all, but so many of the additions to NewDark Dromed are indispensable to me.

Honestly I believe it's more because of today's faster PC's. On a Pentium I it took about 30 minutes to optimize my first fm while today it would take 2-3 minutes.

You're honestly wrong. One of the first things noted in this forum when NewDark was first released was how dramatically faster full mission processing was.

Faster pc’s do make a difference but I did 2 missions on the same laptop, one before NewDark and one after. The one using NewDark was incredibly faster. Prior to NewDark, you could run full mission processing and go have lunch. When you returned, the program may be done. 😊
In any case, Dromed was vastly improved by NewDark in many ways and faster machines are always helpful.
