Until a Shocker shows up and sets us straight, I'm thinking it's "SFC" and a nod to Terra Nova: SFC, or perhaps it's from SFC? :o

Three fingers is fine if it's a robot, or the person puts two fingers in each glove-finger.

So now there's even more tribute to Terra Nova in Thief, on top of all the other nods to the game in Thief!
That is one buried Easter Egg!

Yup, it definately looks like SFC to me.

NICE CATCH JTR 7 !!! The truth is out! It's not SS2, it's Terra Nova!:o I never played that game so I wouldn't jhave known.:erg: But still, that panel in the background reminds me too much of SS2.

I checked Thief: Gold first, then TMA and then SS2.

It is an important precursor to Shock, and the devs sure were fond of their creation. Can't blame 'em, at all.:cool:

Terra Nova came out years after System Shock 1, and though they used similar graphics/sounds/voices, they are not officially connected. Some of the spacecraft in Terra Nova were seen in SS1's intro (especially the dropship) and the SFC PBA (shown in that picture) is seen in the outro as a teaser. Of course, the voice of the suit's computer throughout the game is actually Shodan herself, the way she sounded prior to her corruption by the hacker.

And there I was, thinking they were some sort of cybernetically-enhanced Hammerites with hammer-shaped visors, from an early build of Thief.
