Well, I do have 100Mb/s downstream but it is a Drobo with a Marvell Armada XP Quad-Core processor so it's not exactly an i7. But at least we now know it can handle files that big! Here's what's been uploaded so far. I'll get them identified and copied over sometime today.
No complains here. That speed is really not that bad for me. Just giving everyone here an idea of how long it might take for big file sizes. :thumb:

Just got the site to render RTF files properly. I added screenshots to the OP.

Good initiative. Is it running on your private physical machine? That's cool. What security do you provide to prevent users from uploading unwanted content?

Yes, it is running on my (
https://www.drobo.com/docs/start-drobo-5n/) Drobo 5N. Uploads go to a private folder. I verify they are actually fan missions before they are made available for download.

Sounds OK for start. How long do you plan to make the downloads available to the public?
tolsen64 on 20/11/2018 at 15:46
I get an email whenever someone uploads a file. So I should have it available on the same day unless I'm out of the house. The email is simple:
Quote:
A new fan mission was uploaded.
Email: someone@gmail.com
Filename: dce-v1.zip
Status: success
Now if I could only get these emails to stop being flagged as spam. I'm sending them to myself!

Well, my website has been online since 2001. This is the latest addition to it. I have no plans to shut it down any time soon. That's not to say that it couldn't experience some downtime (if I move, or the Drobo dies and I have to order a new one...). It should stay online until sometime after I'm dead when my kid takes the drobo for his own use!
