He said he was a "fan from way back". Excuse me, but that means something. Just trying to give him a heads up, he is worth at least that. I would agree with anyone that as a product, Deadly Shadow$ is worth whatever obnoxious amount you end up paying for it for it's super glossy atmospheres. Especially to an unsuspecting "newcomer". It has really cool and neat candylike atmosphere for sale. Thievery? Sneaking? Shadows? You better start figuring it out, as I am not the one in denial. Now that the music has been sufficiently ripped and available for free, there is no longer any need to further contaminate the soil with this error.
Opinions vary.

Thief 3 isn't as good as Thief 1 and 2, but I think it's at least worth a play through.
I enjoyed it well enough.

Hello Garras and welcome. My advice would be to stock up on flashbombs, fire arrows, and lots of speed potions. That's how I blast through seriously unpleasant situations. Errmm ... while playing Thief, of course. (Nobody'll let me have any of the above in RL..... go figure.)

that bad, at least as a game in and of itself. However, when compared to T1/2, it doesn't quite stack up. Ya know, linearity, lack of swimming/rope arrows, and all that crap.
If you wanna know some of the general complaints about DS, just do a forum search for "TDS Complaints," or just look at the "Essential Reading" thread thingy. That should about sum most of the complaints up.
Lets hope you can survive the 1st few weeks or so here, if you can make that, then you're good. More or less. Just feel lucky your chances of running into a particular ZylonBane are low at this particular moment, not really a troll, but a bit of an unnerving jackass. :thumb:
