Did anyone ever make some new nobles voices? Or any other voices? Not having any luck finding anything.
I saw Digital Nightfall's COSAS pack for nobles, but it looks like all it has is a drunk variant. I was hoping to find an alternative male noble voice for the AIs, as I don't want all the nobles to sound the same. Thief 2 only seems to have vnoble1 and vnoble2, one voice each for male/female.

Did you look at T3? It is a LOT of work, but you can import T3 voices. I did that for all the Keepers in my 1st mission.

That's an interesting suggestion. Nope, I haven't. I don't actually have Thief 3 installed on this machine, but I could go grab the disc and check it out.

I did the same. The work involved is tedious, as you have to know what alert levels are, yellow, green, red, and pay attention to the first coded letters. Then you have to write the schemas for them. Expect a few days work just getting a couple sets of voices, such as Noble4,5 ect. I have done 3 sets of guards, some male thugs, and some thieves.
You will also need DXIW Sound Drone for extracting the .oggs, .wavs from T3 SchemaMetafile_DVD1.csc,DVD2,DVD3, ect. If you google the sound drone, you can find it at the Thief3 editors guild.

Ugh. That seems like too much of a hassle to be honest. Would you be willing to just share your files perhaps? I'd credit you in the readme.

Yes, what is mine is yours, as my work is a free gift to the community. It may take some probing to find them, as they can be found at thiefmissions:(

You will find a bunch in Deadly Triangle, (Guard7,8)Tower of St.Moria,Cathedral of St.Vincent( I converted some T3 Hammers to T1/T2. Hammer5,6,7,8 Escape Hammer Hill. Some female thieves-Th7,Deadly Triangle. Hammers in Cataclysmic Revelations. Lord Bafford's Secret-some thieves, quite a few. I may have converted a Noble or two, but can't remember.

Nobles, I don't know of any T3 conversions, but that would be worthwhile. The HMDK includes the two Hammer voices from T1 which were not in T2 plus 3 more new ones from T3; those are all used in The Drymian Codex as well. That mission also includes sound files for the 4 pagan voices from T3, although I've not released the schemas yet. But no nobles are available yet that I know of.

*raises eyebrows* Another mission related to Bafford's? Downloading now. Will have to check it out (and play it. :cheeky:) Bafford's Manor was one of my favorite missions from Thief 1 for some reason. I actually just played Bafford's Curse with a friend of mine the other day with Tos' multiplayer patch.
