If it's not too late... How do you feel about Garret killing people? Clearly you're a-okay with it since he does in cutscenes since the original IIRC, but what do you think about the slight ludonarrative dissonance regarding what the game usually encourages? "Rule of Cool"?

Goddamn it, I just saw there's a hidden message at the end of Daniel's short film. It flashes "Salt the fries" and now I wanna know what it means. Haven't finished the pod episode yet, hope you asked him about it.

Back at LGS they used to order a bunch of value meals from McDonalds for everyone. The workers would have to box them up and they'd just use the boxes they got from the food plant. On the boxes full of french fries, there was the quote "Salt the Fries".
LGS thought this was funny, so they cut out those quotes and hung them up around the office.

Ehcmier also answered you on our discord:
@Kubrick Salt the Fries:
"Back when the LG team was working late-night on SS, one of the employees would go out to McDonalds and order like 15 or 16 Extra Value Meals, or something like that. However, the guys at McDonalds, due to the excess baggage, had to pack all the food into their boxes which they received from the manufacturing plant (Fries, Burgers, etc...). On those boxes, the people at Mickey D's put some quotes on there. On the French Fries boxes, they put the quote 'Salt the Fries.' The dudes at LG thought this was funny, so they cut up all the boxes with 'Salt the Fries' on it and pasted them all over the office. Hence, the 'Salt the Fries' line was born. Remember, it's not Salt the Fries [sans quotation marks], it's 'Salt the Fries.'" ~(A quote from Doug Church at E3)we didn't ask because we knew :D and others do too, obviously, so mystery solved Picture of one of the boxes
