Glad to hear it. Unless someone finds some show-stopping bug I'll release this tomorrow. I forgot to mention that anyone who helps out with testing will get to see a puppy video, so PM me if you're interested!

Nope. That won't do it for me, taffer. I want you to put all the troll pts in my current mission. :p

Wow this looks quite useful. I'm all for GUIs. I'd love to try this out once it's ready for download publicly. (Since you are giving the link privately at the moment for testing.)

It would appear that I completely forgot to release this.
I've made a change to the way it handles textures. NewDark doesn't use the extension in the bin file - if it finds file.gif, it looks for file.dds, then file.png etc. DEOCI now does the same.
Another thing that has changed is the conversion options. The previous behaviour was for all textures of format X to be changed to format Y (e.g. convert .gif to .png). Now, all textures are converted to one format (which you can choose), making the program easier to use. Since NewDark doesn't care about extensions, it won't matter if you export an object looking solely for .jpgs when your txt16 folder has a png or dds.
Since it's been a while, I won't assume the same people who tested last time will be available now. Therefore if you want to test the new version, let me know.

Test, hell, I've been using it regularly. Works great.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

•An option for no texture export
I might have misunderstood the reasoning behind this request. I added a checkbox "Don't extract unconverted textures", but now it seems like an odd thing to have. Presumably someone may want to edit the object and start from scratch with new textures, so extracting/copying the old ones would be unnecessary.
