Hi.
I have technical problem trying install Ponterbee mod. What exactly should my install.cfg file contain, when I have
Game wants CD when I start it.
This is a direct copy from the 'readme' file:
[COPY]
3. Make a backup copy of INSTALL.CFG (located in the root of the SS2 directory). Just highlight it, then press CTRL-C, CTRL-V.
4. Open up INSTALL.CFG using Notepad.
5. Find the line that starts with "resname_base". Add "\res" to the first path in this line.
For example:
resname_base c:\games\shock2+f:\shock2
becomes...
resname_base c:\games\shock2\res+f:\shock2
(where "c:" is the install drive, and "f:" is the CD-ROM drive)
(this text was taken from the Installation Instructions that accompany the SHTUP texture pack)
[/COPY]
Excellent FM! I dusted off SS2 just to play
Ponterbee Station and I'm very happy that I did. An awesome experience. Thank you Christine & Co. :thumb:

Hi, does anyone know where the keys to the two rooms in engineering control are, the two rooms on either side where the reactor core is. I've been looking high and low for them and have not found them. Any help would be greatly welcomed:D

Thanks a ton christine but I have another problem, I can't seem to find engine core code number 2 anywhere. I have found codes 1 and 3 but 2 eludes me. Any idea where it might be? I will be forever greatful to you :D

Hi, I just finished Ponterbee Station in about seven and a half hours and have to say that it was incredible. The level design and voice acting are top notch. A hearty well done and thank you to all that was involved. It's nice to see people still interested in System Shock 2 universe and was willing to spend the time and energy developing a mod as fantastic as Ponterbee is. My hats off to Christine and friends *vigorisly shakes everyones hand and wonders if another mod is in the works from Christine* Again well done. P.S. after finishing Ponterbee I wanted to play SS2 again only to have Ponterbee start up again. Is this normal?

Well, you do have to uninstall Ponterbee first. Just follow the uninstallation instructions in the Ponterbee readme. Remember, Ponterbee and SS2 start with the same tour of duty levels, so the in-game change won't be immediately apparent.

Hi, just wondering since I'm done playing Ponterbee, is Return to the UNN a fan mission or the SHTUP untility? I'm dying to play another SS2 fan mission but don't know whether Return to the UNN is one or not. :erg: Anyone's help will be greatly appreciated

RTTUNN is a fan mission, and a pretty good one, too.
