The required level for CV's quest is 20. There is absolutely no connection to how far you've advanced in the main quest.

To do the quest for the last Daedric shrine, you must have completed all other Daedric quests and reached the point in the MQ where you must sacrifice an artifact. The logic behind this is that someone could conceivably do all the daedric missions and then lose every artifact they gained.
Don't ask me how someone can manage to lose all those artifacts.
Anyone who has reached that point and can no longer get their hands on any artifact is then able to beat the final daedric quest, get the artifact, then give it to Martin.

I was refering to the final Daedric Shrine quest which gives a good reward and not Clavicius'.

ok not about leveling.. but i was readin about a mod that would alter leveled items with you and UMBRA was one of them, levelled at 9 adn 15(i think). I found it earlier then that by accident, and well after many tries and reloads finally killed UMBRA, but its just ebony armour and well the swored is cool... but is the armour enchanted at higher levels... not that i can do much about it now... just a curiousity:confused:

Nope. It just has a different name. No enchantments at all -- probably would have been a bit too overpowering if that were the case.

The Umbra Sword is not leveled but the armor of Umbra is.
