Yes, I started this mission as New Dark was released. I haven't worked on it for the last 3 years, but now I will try to finish this mission :)

The old chronicle was easy to miss. Weird, I thought I'd looked everywhere....

As for Bill's scroll, I had it the whole time but didn't check my inventory. D'oh!

Question: Are there any other secret objectives other than Bill's scroll and Lady Melissa's letter? I tried dropping the rest of the scrolls, letters, etc. I'd gathered here and there but triggered nothing.

So, the old chronicle is the only thing I'm missing: I found the wine, the pipe, the loot... just not the chronicle. I know it's in the basement because the book in the attic mentioned that.

But there are two locked doors I can't pick and I guess they are the reason I can't find the chronicle yet:
- a locked steel door at the very end of the basement hallways, it's surrounded by cobwebs and I think I hear some faint creepy ambient around it; can't pick it and need a key for it, but don't have the key
- the dobule doors leading to the second building inside the inner courtyard; can't be lockpicked, and I can't get inside there from the walls' battlements, and not from the sides either, so I probably need a key

The second building is the library. You will find the key in the secretary's office, it lies on the desk

The metall doors in the basement leads to the cellar. search in the library for the key to open the doors

In the cellar: search for the old chronicle
