For your first mission this one is pretty astonishing.
I finally finished it on expert and enjoyed it, architectural-wise it was outstanding.
The majority of loot was extremely well hidden and I finished on about 500 short in loot, including all four scrolls.
It took me a while to realise the four scrolls can be found on the exterior walls and even then it took much more time to find the first one - I climbed every wall and frobbed almost every single book until I found the first scroll (really a scroll inserted into the wall so my best tip is to look for a white object/irregularity on the wall textures!) In conclusion, this fan mission is one of the harder ones out there. Not GORT-level hard, but still hard to finish due to loot-hunting.

Thanks and congrats for this mission.
The architecture was really nice and original, it was a bit cramped as others already pointed out, but I - unlike many - generally like cramped places (unless when I get really stuck in the terrain/objects) :cheeky:
Also the hints throughout the mission were cleverly written, so kudos for that :thumb:
(Finished the mission with 100 total loot missing.)

one question about a certain area of mission, ok on the outside of i think 3rd building is a set of shutter i opened and climbed into but really nothing was there?? also there is a door there with no way to open it??
was there any use for that area or just a over look for that guard on top part balcony??
it was the only room i felt like either i missed something or it was just random??
and taylor i missed 185 loot so you did better then me grats on that, if i had to guess i missed 85 in something and the last 100 i bet is a diamond somewhere probaly by fireball maybe,i did a little search of the 2 way after fireball but ended up finding nothing

...
it is opened from the basement where the fire elemental is patrolling - just follow the fireball until you see a longer hallway where the fireball turns left you go right.

@downwinder - in that area through the shutters, you can rope up to the balcony to get access to the rest of the building.

this is such a great T1 mission!
cramped buildings full of twisty corridors, every inch of space packed, teases of places I can't get to (yet) to pull me forward... love it!
two things I need help with:
1) finding the scroll about fungal denizens: it should be in mycology, to the left of the entrance to building D, but I can't find it there. I even got up onto the building roof, and from there to the top of the northern tower :ebil:
2) opening a secret in building C on the East side of the upper floor; there are architectural clues (texture alignment, strange bookcase shapes) that something is there, but I can't find a switch.

Agree with the previous post. This mission is very well designed true to the original T1 and maybe even better.

Glad you liked it.
1) I guess I placed the
"Mycology" label not very precisely. It's supposed to refer to the whole facade wall, not specific place.
Check the lowest shelf in the bookcase section right above the entrance door, to the right of the big stone face. 2) No secret there, just a place to hide from patrolling mage. :)
I you want secrets, there are three hidden areas with
keeper statues throughout the map.
downwinder on 3/7/2023 at 06:57
i found 2 of the keeper statues, one was a earth type place with glow mushrooms on a tree, other one was a red room probably fire element, if only 3, why not have all 4 element rooms contain a keeper statue, due to the 4 mages alignments, just an idea if updated
why couldn't there be just 1 water arrow :P, also i never knew i could use broad heads on a fire elemental

Elemental theming of statue rooms is completely accidental, actually. They're not connected to mage elements, they're
remnants of keeper involvement with library dimension inside the Condemned Catalogue, before they gave the tome to Hand Brotherhood for safekeeping. There isn't any water arrows because there is (almost) no open-fire light sources (all those books are flammable after all). There is, however,
a gas arrow in one of secret statue rooms. The one near
wooden staircase leading up the tower in building B.
