Downwinder, what version of NewDark do you have installed? version 1.2 was made with NewDark 1.28 and missions saved in this version are not backwards compatible. I suggest you update your game to 1.28 or download the 1.1 version that I've kept for people who are still on 1.27

yeah i have 1.27, but if this is played on thief gold isent newdark 1.28 for thief 2 fan missions?
i am trying to run the mission on the thief gold player i got
i though thief 1/gold upgrades are done through taffer patch?
i am getting the upgrade and i hope it works
i am just going to get first version as the download for the upgrade seems weird to me

I haven't had a chance to play this FM but I will when I get home. If there is something set up to change the frobinfo property on an object, it could be targeting the wrong object (the door). The only way a player could pick up the door is if the frobinfo property was changed at one point to allow objects in the world to be moved and not just interacted with.

fortunately the door bug was fixed by re-creating the door entirely with a new OBJ ID, there was something cursed about it for some reason.

i completed mission on expert, i liked it a lot, it ran perfect, you did a great job, i just wish the ending part was longer and harder

Just done a quick re-run using the latest version.
A few queries.
I couldn't throw away the inn key but all other keys could be removed from inventory.
A couple of plates end up in the inventory - are they to be used somewhere?
In the room that flips vertically near to the end of the mission, the loot can be taken while upside down and again when the correct way up. Was this intentional?

Plumph, the inn key is intentionally not droppable, I didn't want people to lose it or try and be funny and softlock themselves by dropping the key inside the inn room as the door closes. I could've made the door lock-pickable but that's just how I decided that door should work, and Garrett would presumably want to return the key once his night is up.
As for the plates, I believe by default some plates are set up to go into your inventory and it was a small oversight on my part to not change that or make them frobinert
and yes, the loot in the "inverted" bedrooms was intentional
