Help!
I was previously at Felix's corpse, I managed to find the Grave of Lost Children. How do I get from either of these places to the Horn of Quintus?
(Playing at normal difficulty; getting really low on rope arrows and healing potions.)

I can't get it started.
I fixed the missiontype, but whether I start it with Darkloader or NewDarloader, the game starts, I choose to start the Mission and as soon as the loading screen pops up, it crashes. I don't get into a shop or into the goalscreen or mission at all.
But if I chose The Training, I can play the training perfectly fine.
Playing vanilla T1 or any other TFm works without a problem.
Any ideas?

Hmm. Try making a thread for this in the Technical Support section. I suspect it is because you're missing a few Thief: Gold resources not in Thief 1.

Hmm, I'm getting the same thing as thief-outside-a-box, using FMSel. I choose "New Game" and then pick my difficulty, and as soon as I click on "Up in the Bonehoard" the screen stutters a bit and then the game crashes. I've run Tfix twice now to make sure everything is up to date, and I get the same results.
So basically I'm crashing before getting to the objectives screen. I noticed the zip has no goals.str file, but then I noticed in Fortuni's walkthrough that the mission uses the same goals as the original mission, so that's not it.

OK, I think I figured it out, it looks like the MISSFLAG.str file in the /strings folder is messed up. Maybe it got changed accidentally when the file was updated with the French translation?
Anyway, there should be a "skip" after miss_1 in that file, the first four lines (after all the lines that begin with //) should look like this:
miss_1: "skip"
miss_2: "skip"
miss_3: "skip"
miss_4: ""
At least that's how I got it to work.
Edit: No, this is wrong. I tried the original file on a 2nd PC and it worked fine. Not sure why my other PC is crashing, yet works when I change to the above setup.
