Doom was probably one of the best. It wasn't brilliant but it held up fairly well. I thought the first Mortal Kombat movie was ok, the second one was all suck let loose. The Resident Evil movies have been ok IMO.
The Silent Hill movie I'm interested in seeing. The catch is, the movie won't actually be a dramatisation of any of the games. As a result, the writer(s) have more leeway to make a regular scary movie.

I take it your talking about Starforce? Yeah, Thats dangerous stuff.
For me, the Thief Series is such a high bar to reach for the rest of the sneeker games out there. Hitman, and Spliter Cell come close, but they're 'still' far away. For one thing, they're stupid console games ported to the pc (If you do a port, I say, get the Keyboard movement down. Don't do it half-assed! T3 fails in this respect too. But the Minimalist project saved it :D)
It's nice to know that NOLF2 has some stealth elements in it too. May have to hit the bargain bins.
