I made a custom icon for my Darkloader when I kept opening DP instead... it consisted of the arc from DP with the green and red eye replaced with the gear from MA. I thought it looked pretty cool. Unfortunately I don't have it with me, or access to it - it's on the 'family' (i.e., Mom's, since Dad has one of his own :p ) computer now, and I have my own at university.
So, someone give it a shot and see how it turns out with the new icons! I would even do it myself - except for the 'how do I post this?' part. I might anyway :)
edit: the blue DS icon is sweeeett...

Hm...all of the Windows XP sizes should be included - I know I did 64x64, 48, 32, and 22, but I'll check again and update...I use Linux mostly myself, so I only did a cursory check in XP.
I'm at work now; I'll try again when I get home.
Edit:
Okay, I downloaded a copy on my XP machine at work, and they do look small. It does show a different size image in the Tile, Icon, and List modes, so they are all there - but they do look small.
I'll resize them in XP and make a new set when I get home.

Yeah, I'll fix that today.
Sorry, I didn't check over those as much as I should have. - though there may still be a few pixels difference, as the original icons are edge-to-edge with the design, whereas mine include a drop shadow

Hey, no problem, man. Just thought you'd like to know.

Can we have the big ones? I like the big ones.

Yeah :) I am already using it for the "Games" folder. Looking for bigger versions... :thumb:

64x64 pixel icons - the big ones shown above - are included pixel for pixel in the .ICO files.
The problem is that your windows desktop is set to display 32x32 icons or 48x48 icons - I believe it's controlled via your DPI settings in Display Properties.
I can and will increase the size of each icon a few pixels (I left a border of empty pixels I shouldn't have), but I can't make XP use the larger size.
EditActually, it's in Display propeties, under Appearance, and then the Effects button. But it affects all icons.

Everyone note how much more pleasant this thread was before Fallen+Keeper decided to open his yap.
Wrong again. You more than suffice to deteriorate any thread, it's just a matter of time. Besides, it's no secret that your concept of "pleasant" is a very twisted one.
But let's not take it so personally. I didn't mention you specifically in my first post, so I wonder why did YOU answer. If you identify yourself with the word "whiner", please, the next time refrain from typing "idiot".
Bringing something up to the public opinion is one thing, behaving in a certain manner is another. It didn't happen, yet, but I saw it to many times before, and I would be sorry if another talented taffer got frustrated by the community's whines and crazy whishes.

Everyone knows that Zylon just has a very high sense of taste, that's all. He likes things. . . nice. And done. . . right. Yes.
