Thank you, Denise. I put the Laser pointer onto the crossbow and still bought a scope for the stealth pistol.

Actually, I liked using the laser sight with the sniper rifle. If a guard saw me and started running at me, I turned off the scope but kept the laser on. As soon as he was in range I could get a guaranteed one-hit takedown. The laser really makes the sniper rifle useful in combat with alerted guards if you also have some recoil and reloading mods on the rifle too. I also put one on my regular pistol. Many people ditch it, but I have always preferred it to the stealth pistol.

i find the regular pistol to be much better than the stealth pistol. it is about 3 times as powerful as the stealth pistol and can hold plenty of ammo too; mine currently holds 12 rounds per clip.
i hated having to "double-tap" to headshot someone with the stealth pistol. with the regular one, a laser sight early in the game makes you a crack shot, and later when enemies might notice it, you've had opportunity to make it (and yourself) better so it's just as good.
