I prefer the stealth pistol to the basic one - bigger clip, and so much less time between shots....
Deus Ex 2 weapons? Well, a railgun. A paralysing weapon based on the research currently being done into passing electric currents down channels of air ionised by UV laser beams - think a tazer gun only more effective, with a range of up to 2km, and the possiblity of a high-powered version being able to kill or short out vehicle electrical systems. A laser weapon designed to blind rather than kill. A high powered laser that drills holes but has no recoil and is totally silent. A garotte wire. An electric drill, circular saw and other power tools. A really serious EMP weapon that knocks out entire city blocks.

Look I know it sounds bad but I'd love a rail gun or EMP rifle (ala SS2).
Both are real nice "cyberpunky" weapons that would fit in nicely. Yeah and with the railgun I'm not talking quake here. I'm talking heavy, shoulder mounted type stuff.
Heh. Did anyone ever take the heavy weapon skill in SP? Why bother I say when you can use that GEP just as well - and its not like I used it for anything other than the odd bot, turret or door.
I too would love to see some martial arts HtH action. Or at least some piano wire or something. *lol* monofilement wire like in Johny Menmonic (the story - not the movie)

Maybe that Railun weapon that Arnie uses n Eraser? You could swtich on the AUG which allows effectverly allows you to see through walls, then you could use this gun to fire through and kill them.

At first I was irritated at the amount of inventory space, but then I realized the appeal of Deus Ex is the ability to choose different playing styles. With a level four health aug, JC Denton can heal just about any damage except headshots (taking "Realistic" mode as the model) whilst being fired upon by four or five people with assault rifles. The bullet wounds must be closing as fast as they're opening, and he's mostly unaffected by the kinetic force of all that lead.
With a level four speed aug, he can break out a window in Maggie Chow's place and drop STRAIGHT TO THE GROUND outside, shattering both legs (and then most likely using the afforementioned health aug to regrow them!).
The fellow can also jump 2-4 times his height, see through walls, shatter a door with a swipe of a sword, hear the workings of a surveilance camera, block 90% of radiation around him, etc... and you're talking about the physical impossibilities of using a minigun?

Id like to see a rocket powered grenade launcher. It can shoot grenades really fast at high velocities and blow the shit out of anything.

I'd like to see RailGun in DeusEx. Or redimer. Also - invertory is really too small! How can I quickly kill guard bots without GEP? And how can I play without flamethrower? And if I take both I'll drop sniper gun, shotgun...

You dont need a friggin GEP gun! I can beat the game with a pistol - sniper rifle - assault rifle - dragons tooth - charger prod. Never underestimate the power of the gas grenade and scramble grenade.
