TP worked fine with the wii-mote. I played both versions and they both seemed pretty even, but Zelda has never been a game about super-fast reflexes anyways.
Yeah, they were both pretty even, and that's kind of my problem. The wii-mote was sold as revolutionary, and despite the game using this new controller, no changes whatsoever were made to take advantage of it. Even things that would seem to be pretty obvious - like removing the forced transition to an aiming mode when using the bow or boomerang when you've got an on screen recticle at all times - didn't get made.
If you've got a revolutionary new controller, and your game plays on it exactly like it did on the old controller, I'd call that a failed transition.

In OoT, I actually dreaded the monotonous mazes/fetch quests that they were.
This, this and a thousand times this. For me the dungeons just killed all the zelda games. When I played OoT I got through all of them (finally) and was all ready to kick gonan's ass but then I got to his castle and realized I need to go through another fucking dungeon? Screw that. Never beaten the game.

I was pretty disappointed with TP as a whole. I don't know why, I just didn't really dig the game.
The storyline fell flat and was uninteresting and the pacing and gameplay were all over the place.
Wait, what? Hasn't the storyline of every zelda game been basically the same? Person X gets captured by evil power Y, which then threatens the whole world so you must collect A, B, C in various dungeons so you can access Y's dominion and create the ultimate weapon Z.

The chick is Master Sword. Okay? Cool. Glad we had this conversation.
Ugh, trust Japan to make a sword into rape fantasy material. :tsktsk:

Oh come on the dungeons in zelda are the best part. Of all the rpg's ever created zelda probably has the best dungeons. The developpers actually spend time designing those instead of just making a corridor and adding a billion enemies to kill (or just making a corridor in the case of typical jrpg's).

Details about the new Wii Zelda:-
Quote:
[7:04] Up comes concept art for the new Zelda game, which shows Link in his Twilight Princess incarnation.
[7:04] The team is "targeting" next year, and is building in so much Wii MotionPlus capability that the game might require it to play.
[7:06] Miyamoto said that they are trying to juggle all the game's elements. He prefers action games, so he's into swordplay, but other team members want to focus on role-playing game elements.

I can guarantee you that the "Master Sword girl" will wind up in Hentai doujinshi (fan comics).
Google "OS-tan". Yes, the Japanese have even turned Operating Systems into sex objects.
(

EDIT:
LOL, that link even has "Firefox-tan".

I recall one doujin where WinXP is raped by her older "sister", Win2K... who is a hermaphrodite.
How about a round of applause for Japan?
